2. Our Services

Meriity is a Melbourne-based marketing and technology agency that provides:

  • Automation & CRM Integration
  • Web & Mobile Design and Development
  • Branding & UI/UX Consulting

Each service engagement will be governed by a written proposal, agreement, or contract, detailing deliverables, timelines, and payment terms.

3. Use of Website

By using our website, you agree not to:

  • Use the website in any unlawful manner or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Transmit any harmful or malicious code, files, or scripts.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, servers, or systems.
  • Copy or reproduce any materials without written permission from Meriity.

4. Quotations & Proposals

All proposals and quotes provided by Meriity are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise. Any changes to project scope, objectives, or deliverables after acceptance may result in additional charges.

5. Payments

  • All services are invoiced as per the payment schedule outlined in the proposal or agreement.
  • Payments are due within 7 to 14 days from the date of invoice, unless otherwise agreed.
  • Overdue accounts may attract late fees and/or suspension of services.
  • All prices are in AUD and may be subject to GST.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing all required materials, feedback, and access in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring content provided does not infringe on any third-party rights.
  • Reviewing and approving work within agreed timeframes.
  • Delays in approvals or deliverables from the client’s side may affect timelines and incur additional charges.

7. Intellectual Property

  • All intellectual property created by Meriity during a project remains the property of Meriity until full payment is received.
  • Upon full payment, ownership of the final deliverables (e.g., website, designs, reports) is transferred to the client.
  • Meriity retains the right to showcase work in portfolios or promotional materials unless agreed otherwise in writing.

8. Third-Party Tools & Integrations

Some of our services rely on third-party tools and platforms (e.g. Google, Meta, Shopify, WordPress, CRMs, etc.). Meriity is not liable for changes, limitations, downtimes, or policy breaches related to these platforms.

Any costs associated with third-party tools or subscriptions are the client’s responsibility unless specified in the agreement.

9. Service Performance & Results

While Meriity uses best practices, proven strategies, and data-driven decisions, we do not guarantee specific outcomes such as search engine rankings, lead volumes, or revenue increases. Many external factors can influence performance, including market conditions, competitor actions, and platform changes.

10. Cancellations & Termination

  • Ongoing services can be terminated with 30 days’ written notice by either party.
  • Fixed-scope projects cancelled mid-way will be invoiced based on the work completed to date.
  • Meriity reserves the right to cancel a service agreement in cases of non-payment, abusive conduct, or breach of terms.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meriity shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of profits, or data loss resulting from use of our services or website.

12. Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information on how we collect, use, and protect your data.

13. Amendments to Terms

Meriity reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the website or services indicates your acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
